About Tourer-Tek Caravans IT Services
We inspect and service the tow hitch, stabiliser (if fitted), drawbar, handbrake mechanism, jockey wheel, inspect the tow electric plugs / cables and test all the road lights. We clean and lubricate all the corner steadies. We raise the caravan or trailer and check the wheel bearings, remove the wheels and check tyres for date, type, depth, pressure and damage. We check condition of wheels, we remove the hubs to inspect brake mechanism, brake cables, balance bar, brake rod and over-run mechanism. We re-fit the hubs using new hub nuts or split pins and torque to manufacturing specification, re-set brakes, check suspension and body to chassis mounts
